Knowledge and Adoption of the Respondent about the Livestock Insurance Scheme

The present investigation was conducted in Dhariwal block of Gurdaspur district, Punjab. One hundred twenty respondents were selected purposively from 5 villages. primary data gathered by the researcher itself through pre-structured interview schedule. Appropriate statistical tools used to interpret collected draw logical conclusion. finding inferred that majority having low level adoption towards livestock insurance scheme. And also, it observed most had medium knowledge age, education, family type, type house, land holding, occupation, source information, extension contact and personnel cosmopolite positive significant correlation with their level. size, annual income, contact, co-relation
